Jehovah Jireh – God will provide! During Abraham’s most difficult trial, his test of faith proved Jehovah Jireh was his only Source!
In Genesis 22 the Lord asked him to offer his son, his only son, Isaac as a burnt offering. His testing was not about human sacrificing for God clearly forbids that, but the testing of his faith. Then, in Genesis 22:5 the key to his victory is clearly stated. Abraham said to his young men, “Stay here with the donkey; the Lad and I will go yonder and worship, and we will come back to you.”
Sometimes when the warfare is all around you the best thing you can do is to remove yourself from the chaos and worship the Lord! Knowing you are going back to finish your assignment but you’re going back with His wisdom, His strength, and His direction over your life.
