We are all going to make it! Romans 14:4 says that YOU are going to make it and ‘them’ whoever the ‘them’ is to you in the local church is, so we can all relax a bit, shake off the stress and anxiety and let Jesus oversee the local church. Jesus is Lord. Local churches are family, they are great places to have fellowship with people of precious like faith.

Women are not an afterthought, but just like they were made from man, and in fact we carry 98.7% of the same DNA we just have a womb and they don’t, women are DESIGNED to be helper opposites. Ministry gifts in the body of Christ are part of each of our DESIGN, they are not afterthoughts. God didn’t make people and then ‘go look for people’ to fill those offices. NO, He purposefully designed us with the gifting, parents and everything we would need, personality traits to walk out HIS design for us personally and an office if that was part of His design. Therefore, like 50% of the church and lost are women and half men, so 50% of the people He designed with five-fold ministry, Ephesians 4 gifts are as well, 50% of Apostles, prophetic, pastor, teacher, and Evangelists are women. Even if there are parts of the world where the women are not recognized in those offices, that doesn’t mean they are not there and operating, they are.

In Joel 2, God is careful to list that He will be pouring His Spirit out on ALL flesh, men and WOMEN, because He knows the fallen thinking of mankind is to divide, the men and women, this color skin and that. So He is careful to say that He is going to work through both. God is A Father and He likes to do things after His own thought and counsel! He is an inclusive God and Ephesians 4 gifts are given after HIS heart and up to JESUS. This is how the Father thinks, and He doesn’t want His stuff touched by human tradition or philosophy.

The Bible refers to wisdom as being female. Women are gifted at relational issues, and at seeing all the sides of an issue, from relational, to financial, and how all the moving parts work together. We are the detail people. We can manage families with multiple kids, and classrooms. Women need to be developed as leaders because we ARE leaders! WE are the predominant influence on children both at home and many times in the classroom. Women can teach the Word, discern the Word accurately, and flow in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Women need to be trained in the Word, money, business and all the areas that we participate in.

In the local church, your women are your best asset. They were the exact provision for David on the way to his calling when he ran into Nabal. It was the wisdom of Abagail that derailed the man spike to anger against another man. Men’s strength and type of strength is different from women. Men have a sharp rise of energy and then falls, women carry a long standing energy or longer ability to withstand fatigue. Women are creative and love Jesus and are called to be here. No godly woman wants to usurp the role or authority that a man holds. We WANT to be protected.

If you are a pastor, pray over the women in your church. Keep them covered in prayer and include them in training and opportunities to lead. Women, love Jesus first and honor and serve alongside the men, allowing them to lead. Men and women are the heart of the Father and including BOTH is a WIN, WIN for the local church!
