You were born with great God-given purpose and destiny. One of my earliest memories is asking the Lord when He was taking me back up to heaven, because things in our household, I felt were not going as they were supposed to. He didn’t answer that request immediately, but after showing me the story of Jacob’s ladder, clear access to heaven while on earth He gave me an encounter in heaven 2 nights in a row where I was in a ‘strategy room’ of the angelic, making plans for how to maneuver on the earth to help Jesus’s plans for each person come to pass. The overall Presence, was ‘belonging, belonging, belonging’ and ‘purpose, purpose, purpose.’

God will speak to all of us about His purpose, our destinies, like He did Joseph. He will have to speak to us ‘super’ (above) the natural realm, as with dreams, visions, gifts of the Holy Spirit, the Word, etc, because our destinies are FROM heaven, which is over and above the natural realm. Our callings originate IN the supernatural realm of God, so God will need to supernaturally down load to us through our spirits.

He wants ALL of us living on earth, understanding that we are FROM heaven, HEAVEN SENT US HERE and as long as we are here, we are ‘tethered’ to heaven. Our purpose was written in a book in heaven, our spirits are from heaven, the Father who knows and loves us is in heaven, as is the One who died for us and whose image we are made in. God wants us tethered there while living here, so that we can stay steady and grounded in the ups, downs and chaos of a fallen world. If our hearts our grounded in the heaven, which is unshakeable, then we are able to stay on course in our callings when things go wrong on the way to our destiny.

God wants us filled with revelation, details and passion/commitment to our callings so that WHEN those seasons of opposition occur, we can dwell deep in the heart of God and HIS purpose for our lives. Settlements and God’s supernatural intervention is necessary because the enemy WILL attack and oppose ALL of our callings in Christ.

Our callings/lives are designed to be a supernatural partnership with us and the Father. Him walking and talking to us, upholding us and ALWAYS intervening on our behalf when the enemy gets in. He wants us to know Him on this level. Not just Savior. His FATHER hears is what we come to know by experience when we walk through difficulties from our brothers, etc. It will never be enough for any of us JUST to work diligently, JUST to operate in faith and love and obedience. We WILL have to live this way, but be because ALL of us will have to deal with enemy attacks, we also all have to have God’s supernatural intervention to get us in His place for us.

God will give supernatural encounters with OTHERS on OUR behalf and the behalf of our destinies.
God sent an angel to Joseph on Mary’s account.
God sent a dream to the King on Joseph’s account.
God closed Zacharias’ mouth on Elizabeth’s account.

A delay, like with the cupbearer is NOT a denial! God uses delays to work out DETAILS!!!

Joseph used the last 2 years of imprisonment to process the reality of people he would be working with one day, the cupbearer, who sometimes would do the right thing, and sometimes would not. Also, the Lord sometimes shows us seasons ‘to come’ 30 years out. So that we can start preparing, processing and know some of the ways He plans to recompense our lives. He did this with Abraham, and He will do it with us as well. John 16:13 God surprises are GOOD surprises! He WANTS to surprise us!
So even when He has revealed destiny to us, let HIM decide HOW He is going to intervene and when! He WANTS our hearts to have an unshakeable confidence that He really does see all, He can work a recompense and WILL. Glory to God!
