Have you ever had God speak a prophetic Word to you that seemed impossible? In this episode we talk about practical keys or steps to stay and grow in our faith for an impossible Word. We write the Word, make it VISUAL. Write a word, draw a picture that represents what God said. Thank the Lord for the Word and then it is time to start SPEAKING, Not to people, but starting to put the Word in motion by confessing it out loud to God. Confession is what starts to set things in motion. Confession prepares our mind, heart and emotions to take action. Proverbs 18:21, Genesis 1:26, James 3:4. Praying in the Spirit will help keep the enemy off of the Word, it also is the mechanism God works through to work behind the scenes and in others lives, to connect us to the things we will need along the way. Churches are built as we pray, media outlets are designed, people are born again, hear the call on THEIR lives and all sorts of other details that will be needed to fulfill what He told us. As we pray, those things and people are brought across our path. Keeps us in joy as well. 1 Thessalonians 1:6. So we can stay in faith and joy when walking through opposition that comes as a RESULT of the Word. Our faith is to be proved to be worth more than gold. And it keeps us connected to God and His heart about the matter. 1 Corinthians 14:2, that way you can speak that way to Him and you will be keeping your speech within the bounds of FAITH. Intimacy with Jesus is what helps keep us connected to those Words.
God’s Voice/ Word produces faith in us. When He speaks to us, because He has taken out a stony, stubborn heart and given us a heart that is sensitive to Him, Ezekiel 36:25, then we will believe Him. Our hearts are designed by Him to HEAR Him (John 10:14) and to believe Him. That is because He is our Father and we are His legitimate Sons and Daughters.
Start making practical decisions about your time, money and family life to line up with that Word. If you know what the Lord is leading you to, you will find the Holy Spirit will start leading you to want to have everything around Him and His specific purpose for us. Start to invest in the tools you need for that Word. Start to line up financial decisions like investing in equipment you will need. Redirect budgets, giving goals and getting out of debt so that you are best prepared to get your calling done.
Line your family up. How you and your spouse spend your time, how you organize your family life. Put your major effort and time into that calling.
Partner with your partner. Ask the Lord what your spouses’ part of the Word He gave you is. There might not be anything direct, but there will be some at least indirect things they can help you with.
Learn to articulate the Word God gave you to others. Write down what you see/heard, and the revelation the Lord gave you from His Word in order to equip and encourage others.
