This week on Hope Arises, we discuss Romans 1:1, where Paul identifies himself as “a slave of Christ.” What does Paul mean when he called himself a slave? In a culture where slavery is rightly seen as a great evil, how can we come to terms with the fact that the apostles taught that each believer in Jesus us become a life long bondservant to God? We will discuss submission to the will of God and other aspects of walking in servant hood to the Master. Also, we look at Jesus, who demonstrated the attitude of complete submission to His Father, to the point that he was even willing to watch his betrayer’s feet.
