Healing is one of our favorite topics to teach! In part 1 of 3, we look at 5 examples from the Old Testament and begin to look at some in the New, that show it is ALWAYS God’s will to heal.

We look at:

Genesis: How God designed us to live, without sickness. And how sickness entered into the world after the FALL, but that Jesus has redeemed us from that. Galatians 3:13-14

Deut. 28, The Blessing of Abraham and the promise of health. How God put the blessing on His people to keep them healed and healthy, for purpose

The Balm of Gilead, how healing was always available to God’s covenant people

The Office of the Prophet, How God gifted the office to walk in miracles and gifts of healing in order that we walk in the NT Church, in order to bring healing to people even in the OT

Isaiah 53:4 the vision God gave Isaiah, and how God couldn’t contain His joy and excitement about Healing and the upcoming Stripes of Jesus so that ALL of His people could have GREAT FAITH that they KNOW that the they KNOW, it is never God’s will, desire, choice that we are sick, but that He always can and does want to Heal

Acts 10:38 Jesus went around town and healed all, and there is nothing that He has not already or does not want to heal.

Luke 5:12, Jesus encountering the leper who asks THE question that ALL people ask, at least in their hearts. Does God want to heal ME???? The answer Jesus gives, was recorded, because it is a living/always NOW answer He CONTINUES to give to ALL who ask it. There is never a time or sickness He does not want to heal.

God does not want you wondering one more day if He WANTS to heal you! He does! There is nothing you have done to disqualify you from His desire to heal to you.

Many times churches teach that healing is not for today, but that is not what the Word says. Healing is WHO Jesus IS and what He DOES.
