Psalm 139:16 we have a book that God has written with His God thoughts and purposes in our lives. The encounter in heaven the Lord gave me was based on Jacobs Ladder, and like in that encounter, the Lord Himself will promise each of us that HE ALONE will guard and provide for us, and do any supernatural it require to get HIS purpose for our life accomplished. This is one of the MAJOR reasons we HaVE to know our destiny or purpose in God. It is THE PLAN that God WILL not stop at any length to back up.

The purposes of God keep us from wandering, depression, or ineffectiveness. That morning when I woke up, I was not happy to find I was back on earth, and asked the Lord to take me up again. That night He gave me the exact same encounter, and so I woke up the second morning with a peace because I knew that I was on heaven. That was a large part of being able to navigate the following years, making every attempt I could to know and follow the destiny I knew I had, but had NO idea what the details were, AND had no power to walk it out. That would come much later. God. Jesus knew His identity and purpose by age 12.
Joseph had God. God wants to impart purpose into our hearts at these ages. God does not want us living without knowing His underlying purpose and plan for our lives.

When Graduating from high school, I was stuck, the interest tests all came back showing I should go either into ministry or law, I had only seen men as pastors, so felt like ministry was not an option, and so started out in a prelaw program. We will talk in the next segment about what we can do on our end to put ourselves into position to hear details. The first will be to be in the Word every day and following or being willing to follow what we read about. God is much more willing and able to reveal details to the man or woman who has already demonstrated an ability and willingness to follow what God is saying in His general word. Tithing, honoring your parents, doing things without complaining or grumbling, watching your words and at some point, being filled with the Holy Spirit. If we are not willing to be spirit filled, He knows we will not have His power to walk in His plans and purposes to us, and so will not release details to us. Anything He tells us is His plan for our lives, is something He will give us every provision to walk out.

WE need to know our purposes because we need to know:
Purpose your time
Purpose your finances
Purpose your relationships and words
Orientate everything about your life to line up with your calling.
The more legitimate your calling, the more it will be opposed, so we know to have as much or our life, money and time put in that direction.

The best way to position ourselves to hear is to:
Receive God
Be In the Word everyday and doing it to the best of your ability what you know to do, make it your priority
Pray in the Spirit, to have the power of God built up in you to do the Word and then to hear details.
God is merciful and will not tell us something that He knows that our hearts will not say yes to, or that others who are involved in those plans will not say yes to as well.
What God has told us, is exactly what He will do.

When I was in heaven at age 8 so many details about my life were downloaded. It is why the Lord told me later in life, after receiving the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, that He would move in me with strength and a plumb-line and pour me out into the nations. When the Holy Spirit deposits in our spirits, our time in prayer, will help to clarify and release the details of what He has put in us.
